No. Changing provider does not need fresh consent. We carry the consent evidence your platform kept across with each contact. Contacts with no evidence at all are left out rather than emailed, and we tell you who they were so you can decide.

How long does it take?

Two to five business days from the scope being agreed to cutover, for the whole account. Larger lists or many workspaces sit at the longer end. Setup items are quoted with their own dates.

What do you need from me?

A read-only API key or a temporary seat on the old platform, which you revoke once we are done; access to your DNS, or the two records to add yourself; and a list of the forms and automations you want carried over.

What happens to my old account?

You keep it running through the parallel run and for the 30-day unsubscribe sync. After that you close it yourself. Working copies we held during the move are deleted, and you can ask for the migration log.

What we move

Somewhere else? If it exports a CSV of subscribers and unsubscribes, we can usually move it. Say so in the form and we will confirm before you commit.

What cannot move

Three things no migration carries.

Automations: No platform exports them in a form another can run. We rebuild them by hand as a Setup item, or you build them in the editor.
Paid subscriptions: Substack and Beehiiv paid tiers stay with the billing they were created on. Paying readers move as free subscribers and need to subscribe again.
Engagement history: Opens and clicks recorded on the old platform are not imported. Your stats here start at cutover.

How your list is handled during the move.
