How workspaces work in SendBeam.
- 01 A workspace is a whole siteEach workspace keeps its own contacts, lists, tags, segments, campaigns, templates, automations, forms, sending domains, API keys and team. Nothing leaks between sites: a segment in one workspace cannot see another’s contacts, and a form can only add to its own workspace’s lists.
- 02 One plan, pooled capsWhat workspaces share is the account’s plan. Contacts, monthly emails and seats are added up across every workspace and checked against one cap, so a quiet site does not waste an allowance and a busy one is not squeezed. Sending domains, live automations and webhook endpoints belong to a single site, so every workspace gets the plan’s allowance of its own. Adding a workspace on Starter, Pro or Business changes nothing on the invoice.
- 03 Switch without signing outOne login belongs to as many workspaces as your plan allows. Switch from the picker at the top of the sidebar, or from Account settings → Account → Workspaces (click the account name at the foot of the sidebar); the workspace you were in is remembered on your login, so every tab and device follows. You can be an admin in one workspace and a plain member in another.
- 04 Create and invite in a minuteUnder Account settings → Account → Workspaces, name the new workspace (after the site, usually) and click Create workspace. You become its admin and land in it straight away. Team invitations accepted with the email you already sign in with add the workspace to your login, with no second account.
- 05 Export or delete a site on your ownAdmins can download everything a workspace owns as one JSON file, and the workspace owner can delete it by typing its slug. Deleting releases the workspace’s sending domains (and removes any DNS records SendBeam added) and moves team members to another workspace they belong to.

- Step 01 Sign up onceYour first workspace is created with your account. Name it after the first site.
- Step 02 Add a workspace per siteAccount settings → Account → Workspaces → Create workspace. Admin-only, and counted against the plan’s workspace allowance.
- Step 03 Verify each site’s domainEvery workspace sends from its own verified domain. A domain verified in one workspace cannot be used from another.
- Step 04 Embed forms and build automations per siteForms post to the workspace they were created in; automations only ever see that workspace’s contacts.
- Step 05 Watch the account, not the sitesBilling shows usage across all workspaces against one plan. Upgrade when the total grows, not when you add a site.

Asked before choosing workspaces.
- Can I manage several newsletters or websites from one SendBeam account?
- Yes; that is what workspaces are for. Each site gets a workspace with its own subscribers, forms, sending domain and automations, all behind one login and one plan. Free allows 2 workspace, Starter 5, Pro and Business as many as you need.
- Do subscribers in one workspace see or get email from another?
- No. Contacts, lists, segments and suppression lists are per workspace. A campaign in one workspace cannot reach a contact in another, and a form can only add to its own workspace’s lists.
- How is a workspace different from a Mailchimp audience or a second account elsewhere?
- A workspace is a full, separate site setup (its own domain, forms, automations, API keys and team) but it is billed as part of one account. Most tools either put every site into one list or charge per extra audience or publication.
- What if the same person subscribes on two of my sites?
- They are two contacts, one in each workspace, and each has its own consent record and unsubscribe. That is deliberate: someone who left one newsletter has not left the other, and the evidence for each subscription stays with the site that collected it.
